Gordon Maughan

Gordon Maughan currently lives in Richmond, North Yorkshire. He studied art at St. Martin’s School of Art under the Principal, Fredrick Gore during the mid 1950’s.

As a result of the pressures of the family business Gordon did not return to painting until 2002.

Gordon’s work is mainly architectural and contoured, filled with contrasting colour giving the subject a feel of movement, a touch of mystery, and a little romance.
