New Furniture Store in Richmond (23 Dec 2009)
A new shop has opened in Richmond market place just in time for Christmas.
Trevor Hill with his son-in-law Andrew Brooks opened furniture store ‘Richmond At Home’ on the 12th December having spent two weeks revamping the old Choices video shop, which had been empty for more than three years.
Trevor and Andrew, both from Richmond, had been in partnership together for 5 years property developing and fitting kitchens. They decided to open a shop in their hometown after being impressed by a similar business they saw in Scotland.
The family run business sells solid wood furniture sourced from the Far East and England; pictures, mirrors, gifts and kitchens. They offer a free measure, quote and plan service for the kitchens and unlike larger furniture stockists all furniture ordered is available for delivery within 1-2 weeks.
“We’ve been very pleased, business has been good since we opened. We’ve had lots of positive comments about the furniture and prices and the gifts have been selling well,” said Mr Hill.
The shop is open Monday – Saturday 9am – 5.30pm and Sunday 10.30am – 4.30pm. For more information please phone 01748 850355 during business hours.
