Twitter Workshop for Local Businesses (15 June 2010)
Richmond-based Life Strategist and Social Media Coach, Caroline O’Neill is presenting a Twitter for Business workshop at The Station, Richmond on Wednesday 23 June.
The Twitter seminar will be hands on, fully interactive computer-based and will teach local businesses all they need to know to get up and running with Twitter and how it can be applied easily and successfully to market, promote and raise the profile of their businesses and gain more repeat customers.
Caroline says: “All businesses especially hotels, pubs, bars, cafes and restaurants as well as estate and letting agents, florists, hair and beauty providers can benefit enormously from using Twitter.
“They will be able to speedily “tweet out” special offers, new property to the market, changes of opening hours, special discounts, vacancies, end of day lines in an instant once they have set up an account and gained followers, all for spending approximately half an hour a day on Twitter and it’s all free. This is a fast way to get your message to your customers.”
Colin Grant, Richmond’s Town Manager, says about Twitter: “…it does seem to have a mass appeal as a marketing tool. We need to look at it’s potential in helping Richmond.”
