Richmond Live have been organising live music events in Richmond since the first "Richmond Live... at last!" outdoor concert in September 1998, and continue to bring live music and the live arts to the town whenever possible.
The aims of the group are:
- Education in, and appreciation and understanding of, live music by the presentation of public concerts.
- To encourage, advance and support the development of new and established bands and musicians within Richmondshire and it's surrounding areas, by providing a forum for creative expression.
The Richmond Live Outdoor Festival now plays an important part in the summer music festival season and attracts music lovers from all around the world.
