Luke Jermay - Sixth Sense
Venue: The Georgian Theatre Royal
Time: 7.30pm
An evening of mind-reading that will astound and amaze!

Luke Jermay is incredible. He can read your mind! His awe inspiring intuitive abilities have gained him high profile fans such as Derren Brown, Dynamo and Uri Geller who all agree Jermay is astonishing.

Sixth Sense has gained critical acclaim with 5 star reviews from Edinburgh to London’s West End. You’ll be amazed at Jermay’s incredible powers; he knows your past, present and future, sometimes better than you do. From your favourite schoolteacher to your childhood pet, Jermay impossibly knows all, sees all and tells (almost) all in an expert display of telepathy developed to amazing razor sharp accuracy.

“My jaw dropped repeatedly... Jermay puts us in a state where we can wonder whether life has more possibilities than we thought it did an hour before.” The Times

“Jermay is one of my favourite performers! See his show!” David Blaine

An Evening with Martin Kemp
Venue: The Georgian Theatre Royal
Time: 7.30pm
The renowned actor, musician and TV presenter will be discussing his life in the public eye and answering audience questions.

Martin Kemp is best-known as the bass player in the multi-million-record-selling band Spandau Ballet and for his portrayal as Steve Owen from the BBC soap opera East Enders.

Spandau Ballet enjoyed a great deal of success, with four of their albums reaching the UK album chart top ten. True gave the band their first UK number one album and single with the album's title track. Kemp also performed with the band on the popular 1984 famine relief project song Do They Know It's Christmas? written by Bob Geldof and Midge Ure.

Martin Kemp has also had a full and varied acting career. He appeared with his brother Gary (also a member of Spandau Ballet) in the 1990’s film The Krays, as well as in several television dramas including The Brides in the Bath and Can’t Buy Me Love. His role in BBC’s top soap drama East Enders made him one of the most well-known faces in television and his character was involved in some of the soap’s highest rated story lines. His many awards and accolades include twice-winner of the British Soap Award’s Sexiest Male!

Kemp appeared on a celebrity special of Who Wants to Be A Millionaire in January 2008 with his brother Gary, to raise awareness of and funds for the Encephalitis Society of which he is patron. He was also a finalist in the 2012 Celebrity Big Brother and earlier this year joined the judging panel of Gary Barlow’s talent show Let it Shine.

Thursday, 9th November 2017 - Saturday, 11th November 2017
The Clink
Venue: The Georgian Theatre Royal
Time: 7.30pm
A riotously funny satirical farce in the tradition of Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead and Shakespeare in Love.

Elizabeth I is tottering at death's door. Conspirators are everywhere. Alternative comedian Lucius Bodkin becomes unwittingly involved in the political skullduggery and jiggery-pokery surrounding the ailing queen. He thinks he'll hit the big time - but he's reckoned without the Tudor backstabbers and the City wide boys.

The Clink could pass itself off as a long-lost Elizabethan comedy. In fact it is a brilliant political satire offering many sharp parallels with our own times, when art must be sponsored, but to be sponsored it must be 'safe'.

A production from Richmond Amateur Dramatic Society.

Tickets from £7.50 to £13.50 (includes £1 restoration levy) are available from the Box Office on 01748 825252 or online.

Scrooge!
Venue: The Georgian Theatre Royal
Time: 19:30 - 22:00
Richmond Operatic Society presents a festive classic!

This festive musical, based on Dickens' much-loved A Christmas Carol, started life as the memorable 1970 film starring Albert Finney before transferring to the stage.

Christmas Eve, 1843: the cruel money-lender Ebenezer Scrooge is confronted by the ghost of his former partner, Jacob Marley, who warns Scrooge that he faces damnation unless he mends his ways. Can Scrooge be redeemed? All will be decided by the three spirits who visit him in the course of the night . . .

With a superb score by Lesley Bricusse, whose credits include Pickwick, Dr. Dolittle and Willy Wonka And The Chocolate Factory, the show features the wonderful Thank You Very Much, I Hate People and the classic Sing A Christmas Carol!
