An eclectic evening of original live music in aid of suicide prevention charity Campaign Against Living Miserably.

dual tree presents in association with Pizza Figaro, an eclectic evening of live music in aid of suicide prevention charity Campaign Against Living Miserably (The CALMzone). This event intends to raise awareness and funds for the issue and help contribute towards alleviating the stigmas that surround mental health. Taking place at the Richmondshire Cricket Club, the night features:

>>>> Ceiling Demons:
Alternative hip hop from Richmond. After a triumphant year with the release of their latest album Nil on Win Big Records, the Demons return for a special hometown show. Backed with a full live band, expect emotive wordplay cast like occultist spells over soundscapes that move from the hauntingly raw to the beautifully sparse.

>>>> The Black Sheep Frederick Dickens:
Electronic goth synth from Darlington. Taking inspiration from the wastrel brother of Charles Dickens, who’s headstone resides in Darlo and following the release of last years excellent EP on North East label Butterfly Effect Records – TBSFD have since played a number of profile shows including Stockton Calling, Evolution Emerging & Redcar Rocks. Expect an intense, theatrical performance from this dark duo.

>>>> Jennifer Walton:
Electronic music composer based in London, Jennifer has had quite the year. Performing at Newcastle’s acclaimed new music showcase event – Evolution Emerging in May, she has since supported Galaxians and continues to release her own take on experimental electronic music as well as soundtrack scores for indie films. One to watch as 2018 unfolds.

>>>> Rosey PM
Singer songwriter from Richmond, based in Manchester. Rosey creates dazzling DIY dream pop with tinges of jazz and psychedelic soul. Having released two EPs on Sheffield’s Blancmange Lounge label including the recent Babysitting EP and a key performance at this years Tramlines festival, among many other credible supports, expect a soothing start to the evening.

There will be a special raffle with an incredible prize to be announced with profits going to CALM.

All ages welcome.
ID is required for the bar.

£4 on the door or £5 with a raffle ticket.
