24/11 - The stones for the top of the central pier are manoeuvred into place.

24/11 Left and below right - The stone is lifted into position by the crane and fixed in place using a mix of ground stone and hydraulic lime with no cement - similar to the original construction.
26/11 Left - The central pier, now complete. Preparations are made to start building the arches. The first course will be pinned to the existing stone with stainless steel pins for added strength.
