The garden at Millgate has been featured in publications around the world. Although a small garden its situation overlooking the River Swale with the waterfalls in the background and the intensive planting make it unique and very special. The garden was selected out of 3200 in 1995 for the R H S/Daily Mail National Garden Competition's First Prize ...receiving a prestigious plaque, celebrating the Award from Prince Charles.
