Panto Princes Prepare for Opening Night at Richmond's Theatre
Local businesses in Richmond had some unusual customers this week when characters from the theatre's annual pantomime did some Christmas shopping before opening night.

This year's panto, which opens on Thursday, is Babes in the Wood and is the third professional pantomime that the Georgian Theatre Royal has produced.

Prince Who and Prince What (played by Tom Burton and Andy Kelly) took some time off to go to Fleurish the florist in Richmond market place to pick up some roses for their love interests while Nurse Goodnight (played by Dominic Goodwin) had to dash over to Capellis for her Pre-Panto-Pamper.

Uncle Van Rental (played by Gary Bridgens) was seen eyeing up some new castles in Irvings the Estate Agents and the Babes Amber and Willow (played by Sarah Kearsley and Katie Tranter) went to Lightfoots the Jewellers to get some last minute presents.

Babes in the Wood opens at the Georgian Theatre Royal on Thursday 6th December and runs until Saturday 5th January 2013.

Telephone bookings for this energetic and entertaining performance can be made on 01748 825252. There are great deals for group bookers with discounts such as 1 in 10 tickets free, forces discount and concessions.
