Brand New John Godber Comedy comes to the Georgian
Friday, Apr 5, 2013
Richmond's Georgian Theatre Royal are welcoming the return of Theatre Royal Wakefield with their brand new John Godber comedy, Losing The Plot, which made its world premiere on 30th January 2012.
Losing the Plot is John Godber’s 63rd play, and follows the story of Jack Munroe, a man who leaves his wife and children to pursue the life of a writer, only to return with no money, no novel, and no idea why he left in the first place.
After the recent successful tours of Happy Jack and Lost & Found, Losing the Plot is to be the fifth co-production by The John Godber Company and Theatre Royal Wakefield, and will tour across the UK from 30 January 2012, until 11 May 2013.
Featuring Steve Huison (from the Full Monty and Coronation Street) as Jack and Sue Cookson (who’s TV and theatre credits include Casualty and Land Girls) as Sally. Losing The Plot is a very funny comedy about family life, falling out and the artist in us all.
Losing The Plot opens at the Georgian Theatre Royal on Saturday 27th April. For tickets and more information call the theatre Box Office on 01748 825252. More details at www.georgiantheatreroyal.co.uk
