Rotary President Praises Club for Charity Fund Raising
On Tuesday (25th June) Richmond Rotary Club met for their annual Handover Meeting.

This is the occasion when club officers for the new Rotary year take over from the previous year's officers and the past president is given the opportunity to review his year.   

In his speech to Richmond Rotarians outgoing President, John Robinson, was full of praise for the efforts of Rotary members over the last year to generate funds for various charities. Mr Robinson said: “Thanks go to all the members for making my time very easy over the last year."  

The new President for 2013-14 is Mac Bryant. “I'm really looking forward to working with fellow Rotarians this year,” he said. “It promises to be another great year for the club.” 

Mr Bryant's nominated charities for this year are The Georgian Theatre Royal and Swaledale Mountain Rescue Team. 

Vice President for the year is Dr Tony Flinn, who is also acting as Press Officer.
