A vintage fashion show held at Richmond Town Hall had a professional photographer on hand to record the successful event.
Richmond Chic Vintique had the opportunity to have Charles Twist, a professional photographer from Cleveland, to come and photograph the local models who were dressed in retro outfits. Charles who uses traditional camera equipment created sepia pictures of the models in keeping with the retro feel.
The outfits were shown in a fashion promenade at the Chic Vintique Fair. The vintage clothes and modern accessories modelled at the event were provided by Richmond Oxfam and dealers who attend the monthly Chic Vintique Fair and were sold to customers after the show.
Event organiser, Bridget Moore, said: "The whole event was a great success, customers really enjoyed seeing how retro and modern accessories blended well.
"July's fair was another success with over 230 people coming to buy everything from collectables to cake. The visitors from Australia, China, and Holland, to name but a few, not only enjoyed the fair but also the venue.... the faces of some when they saw the courtroom area was a picture!"
The Chic Vintique Fairs are held at Richmond Town Hall every first Tuesday of the month with the next one being held on 6th August. Doors open at 9.30am to 3.30pm and admission is 50p.
