Confectionary and Coffee Lovers are in for a Treat
Tuesday, Aug 20, 2013
Coffee connoisseurs and sweet-toothed Richmond residents are in for a treat now new shop Mocha has opened in Richmond market place.
Mocha, situated in Trinity Square, is the brainchild of Dennis and Elizabeth Graves and sells a large range of traditional sweets, high quality chocolates and a selection of coffees and teas.
Dennis and Elizabeth moved from Lincolnshire to Richmond to set up their new business after looking at several towns in the North East. "We came to Richmond and decided it was the perfect place to open a shop. Originally we wanted to open a cafe, however after a little more research we decided that coffee and confectionary was the perfect combination," said Mr Graves.
Mrs Graves, who worked for the NHS as a Medical Staffing Manager, also studied nutrition for a while and is keen to sell products that are suitable for people with specific dietary needs. "We have a range of diabetic chocolates, dairy-free chocolates and can advise our customers on our gluten-free products. We also offer soya milk instead of dairy milk in our coffees."
Visitors to Richmond will also be pleased to see a range of souvenir Richmond gift boxes and local Archers Ice Cream. "So far the feedback from customers has been great and if we haven't got what someone has asked for, we are happy to get it for them," continued Mrs Graves.
The shop is open Tuesday to Saturday 9.30am - 5pm and Sunday 11am - 5pm. For more information or to contact Dennis and Elizabeth Graves please visit: www.mochachocolateshop.co.uk
