Autumn Series of Classical Recitals at Georgian Theatre

Three classical recitals take place at the Georgian Theatre Royal in Richmond this Autumn, an ideal opportunity to hear chamber music in beautiful and intimate surroundings with excellent acoustics.
The three Tuesday evenings, all supported by the Zetland Foundation, start on 11th October at 7.30pm with a young piano trio playing Beethoven’s Archduke (B flat, opus 97), Janacke-Coxe’s trio (The Kreutzer Sonata) and Ravel’s Trio in A minor. Pianist Veronika Ilinskaya is joined by Richard Birchall (cello) and Artem Kotov (violin).
The series continues on Tuesday 1st November with pianist Chris Smith playing Beethoven (including the famous 'Pathetique' sonata); Bortkiewicz, Mendelssohn, Alkan, Liszt and Chopin. On Tuesday 15th November violinist Magdalena Filipczak plays a colourful programme including Piazzolla, Britten, Wieniawski and the passionate Sonata in A major by Franck.
