Theatre Launches ‘Where’s Puss?’ Competition
The Georgian Theatre Royal is inviting people to take part in a competition to guess the where-abouts of a giant cat, who has been slinking around Richmond in the run-up to this year’s pantomime – Puss in Boots.

The 5-foot high, cut-out cat has visited ten secret locations in the town and each day – starting on Friday 7th November – a different photograph will be posted on the Theatre’s Facebook page for people to try and work out where the swaggering feline has been.

At the end of the ten days, people will be asked to submit their answers to the Theatre and the winner will receive a family ticket to the pantomime, which starts its 4-week run on Saturday 6th December.

“We wanted to have a bit of fun in the lead up to the pantomime and it certainly raised some smiles when we turned up at the various locations for our ‘photo shoots’,” said Warnock Kerr, the Theatre’s Chief Executive. “Some of the places should be easy to guess but others may be a bit more difficult to work out. Even if it is not so obvious at first there will be clues within the picture!”

For those people not on Facebook, all ten photographs will be displayed on the Theatre’s website www.georgiantheatreroyal.co.uk and in the Theatre’s foyer from Monday 17th November. The closing date for answers will be Friday 21st November.
