Following on from his sell-out national tour of Uncaged Monkeys, with Brian Cox, Simon Singh and Ben Goldacre, Robin Ince continues his comic exploration of the human condition in his new solo show Happiness Through Science, which will be at the Georgian Theatre Royal on Wednesday 30th May.

Happiness Through Science is a stand up show that asks – Can you be happy and rational? In a frenetic 90 minutes, Robin discusses infinity, Schrodinger’s cat, the evolutionary disadvantage of cannibalism, Richard Feynman and as many things that exist in the known universe that he can fit into the time. It is a celebration of the human imagination and where it has got us.
Robin presents The Infinite Monkey Cage with Brian Cox on Radio 4, recent winner of the prestigious Sony Gold Radio Award. He has won three Chortle Awards, the Time Out Award for Outstanding Achievement and was nominated for a British Comedy Award for best live show. He is a pioneer of the new comedy movement creating shows that have mixed up variety, science, philosophy and music including The Book Club, Nine Lessons and Carols for Godless People and the School for Gifted Children.
He has made many TV appearances from Never Mind the Buzzcocks to Newsnight Review and The TV Book Club. He has made documentaries about Schrodinger’s Cat, The Vinyl Album, the problems of aging and recently made another about Bertrand Russell. His other radio appearances include Just a Minute, The News Quiz and the Now Show.

His first feature film, Razzle Dazzle, was shown at The Berlin Film Festival and opened the New York Children’s Film Festival. His First book, Robin Ince’s Bad Book Club was published last year.
