Free Spectacular Theatre Event in Richmond Castle
A unique theatre performance will take place next weekend in Richmond Castle courtesy of The Swaledale Festival.

Slung Low Theatre Company will be performing an epic adventure in the castle keep on Sunday 3 June. The performance called 'KEEP' which is from 9pm to 10pm, is a free event, though advanced booking is essential.

KEEP is about three best friends who did everything together. Then Helen, the storyteller, went missing on her 18th birthday. Her clothes were discovered by the river, and her two best friends were blamed.

This unsettling story of love, jealousy and shame, is told in a unique promenade performance in the spectacular twilight setting of Richmond Castle.

Slung Low Theatre Company is renowned for thrilling, spectacular and unpredictable multi-media theatre, with giant projections, fireworks and lots of fire. Having recently returned from a tour to Singapore, the Leeds-based company is joined by innovative York-based choir The 24 for this unique performance.

KEEP is one of five Slung Low extravaganzas performed at festivals across North Yorkshire during 2012, which may be enjoyed singly or as a series.

To book tickets for this event please go to www.swalefest.org or phone 01748 880019 (Monday - Saturday, 10 - 4).
