Each will all open their doors for no charge, from 10am on Sunday 2 April.
The Station, which does not charge an admission fee, is supporting the initiative, with a free guided tour at 2pm.
“We want Richmondshire residents to come into the town and visit our attractions; experiencing the history and heritage that’s right on their doorstep,” explains Lynda Powell, Chair of the Welcome to Richmond group, which has created the Love Being Local event.
“By waiving our admission charges, this is an opportunity for people to visit our venues, have an excellent time, maybe remind themselves just how wonderful it is to be a local, and then encourage their friends, family and visitors to also come and see what’s on offer.”
To gain free admission on the day, residents should bring some documentation proving their Richmondshire residency.
