Children’s Comedy Tv Stars Round Off The Easter Holidays In Richmond
Tuesday - April 18, 2017
CBeebies stars and Comedy Club 4Kids veterans, the Three Half Pints are bringing their brand new family show to The Georgian Theatre Royal, Richmond, on Saturday 22 April at 2.00pm.
Bad Guys features the antics of three brothers Derek, Ernie and Dick who are really bored of being good. It’s just GOT to be more fun being baddies but being an evil scientist, pirate or cowboy is trickier than they thought!
The show - aimed at families with children aged 5 to 11 - is the brain-child of Robin Hatcher (Ernie), Richard Franklin (Dick) and Callum Donnelly (Derek), who amongst their TV appearances on children’s programmes such as Justin’s House and Spot Bots are the comedy group in residence at The Gulbenkian Theatre in Canterbury.
In a UK-wide tour from Llandudno to St Andrews, ‘Bad Guys’ will be performed at over 60 venues, including Richmond’s historic theatre.
“We absolutely love getting out there and doing the show for different people,” said performer Callum Donnelly who met the two other Half Pints while studying at university. “Our particular style of comedy is unique on the children’s theatre circuit, appealing to children and grown-up children alike.”
“Bad Guys is a hilarious comic misadventure, packed with songs, slapstick, silliness and accidental derring do! And with plenty of audience participation, it’s a great way for the kids to let off steam at the end of the school holidays,” he added.
