‘Upstart Crow’ Comedy Star Takes Centre Stage At The Georgian
Wednesday - September 7, 2016
Rob Rouse - star of Ben Elton’s latest hit sitcom Upstart Crow - is coming to The Georgian Theatre Royal, Richmond on Friday 28th October at 7.30pm.

The BBC 2 comedy series which sees Rob play William Shakespeare’s manservant Bottom alongside David Mitchell, Harry Enfield, Mark Heap, Paula Wilcox, Gemma Whelan, Liza Tarbuck and Spencer Jones was first aired in May of this year to great critical acclaim.

Rob is also a regular on shows like 8 out of 10 Cats, Dave’s One Night Stand, Live at the Comedy Store, The Friday Night Project, Spoons, Celebrity Juice and John Bishop’s Only Joking.

One of comedy’s most lively and loveable performers, the former Geography teacher has developed a trademark comedic storytelling that features uncompromising tales filled with warmth and compassion for our collective human frailties.

His Autumn ‘Are You Sitting Comfortably’ tour promises to take this technique to a new career high as he leads his audience on an irresistibly hilarious journey of enforced introspection and inspired rantings. This is a real roller-coaster of a show in which he is forced to relinquish any attempts to control his life and to face down literally one of the most awkward situations you’re ever likely to hear about!

Tickets costing £15 (incudes £1 restoration levy) are available from the Box Office on 01748 825252 or via the online booking service at www.georgiantheatreroyal.co.uk
