Contemporary, Creative and Collaborative
Antheia is a new contemporary flower club. A mix of flowers and fun with demonstrations, talks and hands on sessions combining flowers, textiles and design topics. Learn new skills and share existing ones. Aimed at beginners to the more experienced with something for everyone interetsted in contemporary floral art.
All meetings start at 7:30pm and are at Richmond Town Hall unless otherwise stated.
Annual subscription £40. Visitors £8 and everyone welcome at all events.

Caroline Beck is a garden writer for magazines such as Gardens Illustrated and House and Garden, and also runs Verde Flowers, a cut flower business near Durham where she grows more than 100 different varieties of flowers, herbs, grasses and shrubs for weddings and other special events. Come and find out about what she grows, the New Romantic style embodied by the British Flower movement, and how you can establish your own cutting garden

Come and meet local grower and florist Sara Pringle from Meadow Lane Flowers who farms near Bedale. A member of the popular Flowers from the Farm movement, Sara will talk about her first year and demonstrate her skills with beautiful seasonal flowers

Christmas Workshop to make a Natural Door Garland
Get ahead with your Christmas decorations! Come and join us at Ravensworth Nurseries to create a natural door garland.
You’ll be shown how to make both a wreath and a garland and then you can make your very own garland to take home.
All materials and refreshments are provided.
Cost is £15 for non members. Everyone welcome!
