Felt and Photograph
Venue: The Station
Time: 9am - late daily
An exhibition of original feltworks and photographs inspired by rural life and landscapes from a mother and daughter collaborative.

Alison Foster uses her spare time to create artwork. For many years she has enjoyed drawing painting, textiles and photography. Recently she has transferred her drawing and painting skills into felt making – exploring wet felting using a range of wool fibres and silk, then adding detail with needle felting techniques. Inspiration for her work is drawn from wildlife and Yorkshire landscapes.

Rachel Foster is a professional photographer specialising in canine and equine portraits, game shooting and agricultural imagery; providing private commissions and unlimited edition prints. Rachel is often found behind the lens, photographing our four legged friends and creating memories that last forever. She is a true country lady: a farmer’s wife, passionate about field sports, the Yorkshire landscape and the animals within it, all of which comes to the fore in her work.

Stepping Out
Venue: The Georgian Theatre Royal
Time: 7.30pm
The heart-warming comedy with two left feet.

RADS present a warm-hearted comedy with laughs, drama and pathos as a group of women ̶ and one man ̶ attempt to overcome their inhibitions and left feet in their weekly tap dancing class. Mavis, a former professional chorus girl tries her hardest to teach the enthusiastic amateurs some performance skills for an upcoming grand charity performance.

But before the dancing begins Mavis must mediate the minor dramas that erupt among this motley but loveable crew. As the play progresses, so do the dance skills, but will they have the ability to be transformed into triumphant tappers?

Stepping Out won the Evening Standard Comedy of the Year Award in 1984.

Presented by Richmond Amateur Dramatic Society by arrangement with Samuel French, Ltd. Directed by Lynne Kerr.

Tickets £7.50 to £14.50 are available from Box Office on 01748 825252 or online.
