Blooming Great Tea Dance for Original Richmond in Bloom
Wednesday - April 3, 2019
Organisers of Original Richmond In Bloom have arranged a Tea Dance to raise funds for this year’s entry into Yorkshire In Bloom.
Loo Morton, of Neeps and Tatties said, “This is a fun way to help raise money for In Bloom. Not everyone can get involved in the gardening but by joining us for the afternoon, the dancers will be making a contribution as well as enjoying themselves”.
Last year the town came away with a silver gilt award and commendation for Best New Entry. This year the team is aiming for the top gold in their entry into the Town category of the prestigious awards.
The Tea Dance is to be held in Richmond’s Town Hall on Sunday afternoon 14 April from 2 – 4pm with dancing to music through the ages, including Big Band hits and Glenn Miller.
Tea and coffee will be served during the afternoon to refresh the dancers.
Tickets are £2.50 from Neeps and Tatties in the Market Place or phone 07917 455432. Tickets will also be available on the door.
The ticket price includes tea/coffee and a slice of cake.
All money raised will go to the Original Richmond In Bloom project.
