If you’re a fan of pumpkins, witches and all things orange then get yourself down to Richmond where many of the shops and attractions have really gone to town!

Pumpkins of all shapes and sizes are on sale – the more knobbly and uglier the better for those character lanterns – and there is a wide array of baked Halloween-themed goodies to tempt the taste buds, along with costumes and decorations for your spooky celebrations.

You don’t even have to go into the shops to enjoy the fun as many have outdone themselves with innovative seasonal window displays. Why not have a walk round and see how spiders, ghosts, and even skeleton dinner parties you can spot?

Children can help Aggie the Witch find some of her lost belongings as part of a special Halloween activity trail taking place at The Station until Monday 31 October (10am to 4pm) and The Station Cinema is running a Spooktober Film Festival with showings of the 1957 classic The Night of the Demon and the family favourite Ghostbusters this weekend.

Inspired by gothic horror movie classics of the 1930s, comedy horror Is That a Bolt in Your Neck will be on stage at The Georgian Theatre Royal on Friday 28 October. This gripping comedy horror features three fearless adults, playing over 20 roles in 75 minutes of fast-paced fun and thrilling action.

Happy Halloween!
