If you want to make a difference, why not join in with the last two Town Tidies of the 2022 season?

Richmond Pride meet at the Town Hall steps at 10am on the first Sunday of every month to spend a couple of hours tackling grotspots. They're a friendly, hard-working bunch, but it's a never-ending task.

There's a meet-up on Sunday 2 October, and if you've got military connections, or simply enjoy the spectacle of the annual Remembrance proceedings, why not join in on Sunday 6 November when the focus of attention is tidying up the parade route. They take a break over winter, but will be back again in spring.

Equipment is provided, and enthusiasm is all you need (although you may want to bring your own gardening gloves).

Richmond Pride are just one of many wonderful community groups in the town - if you're looking for something to get involved with, take a look at our LIVING page for inspiration and contacts.
