An Evening of Theatre

Venue: The Georgian Theatre Royal

To start, Year 12 A’ Level Theatre Studies students have developed their creative and exploratory skills to devise an original performance. The starting point for this devising process was an extract from a performance text and an influential theatre practitioner.

The second half of the evening is a final examination showcase of two different pieces of work that have been directed by Richmond School and Sixth Form College’s performing arts drama students. Students have led younger students in workshops and rehearsals working on scripts with the actors and the production team to create their final showcase piece.

As always, this evening promises to provide high standard, thought-provoking theatre that inspires and engages younger students.
