Come join us for a fun and creative afternoon of sketching with the talented artist Lynn Ward at The Green Howards Museum. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced artist, this event is perfect for anyone who loves to draw. Lynn will provide tips and guidance to help you improve your sketching skills. About Lynn Ward
Lynn Ward is an artist based in Leyburn, North Yorkshire. Undertaking bespoke artwork of all shapes and sizes and well known for her murals she also creates her own pieces. These are inspired by the humble magnificence of the Dales, from threatening skies, valleys and drystone walls. Lynn paints in either oil or acrylic in a bold impressionistic style using movement and texture of brushstrokes to capture the atmosphere and light.
