Where is Mrs Christie?
Venue: The Georgian Theatre Royal
Time: 7.30pm
A drama centred on the real-life mystery surrounding Agatha Christie's disappearance in 1926.

Agatha Christie was one of the greatest thriller writers of all time and certainly amongst the most prolific.

In 1926, she was at the centre of a mystery as perplexing as any of her fiction. Her crashed car was discovered in Surrey and the famous author was missing, presumed dead by many, for eleven days. However, she was eventually found at a luxury hotel in Harrogate. She claimed then, and for the rest of the life, that she was suffering from amnesia and remembered nothing. Neither the press nor the police believed her.

Liz Grand stars in this intriguing one-woman show. Did Agatha Christie lie, and if so why? Did she suffer from amnesia? Was it a publicity stunt? Or was there a darker secret involved in this disappearance which was to affect her for the rest of her life?

Tickets cost £14 and are available from the Box Office on 01748 825252 or via the online booking service.

Excellent classical string quintet.

Just before the interval, the cellos take a rest during Dvořák's luscious Terzetto.

Finally, Schubert’s great C Major Quintet forms the backbone of the evening's programme, and will be a fabulous ending to the 71st season of the Richmondshire Concerts.

1001 Moments with Troy Hawke
Venue: The Georgian Theatre Royal
Time: 7.30pm
One of the British Fringe Guide Top Recommended Shows of 2017 and 2018. Pure comedy gold!

Society doesn’t have a clue what to do with home schooled naif, Troy Hawke. Equally, Troy is clueless as to how to process what’s going on in front of him. He’s puzzled by so much… the middle aisle of Aldi, the word ‘sick’ as a compliment and being falsely accused of shouting in Poundland.

Troy is on a quest to make sense of it all. A quest that also leads to his involvement in a Liverpool street robbery that made the national news.

As seen on Benidorm (ITV), Live at the Electric (BBC3) and Blue Go Mad in Ibiza (C5).

***** “Character comedy that is near perfection” - The New Current

**** “Undeniably funny” - Chortle

**** “Perfectly worded jokes” - Broadway Baby

I, Malvolio
Venue: The Georgian Theatre Royal
Time: 7.30pm
“Be not afraid of GREATNESS. Some are born GREAT, some achieve GREATNESS, and some have GREATNESS thrust upon ‘em!” Malvolio

I, Malvolio is the story of Twelfth Night told through the eyes of Shakespeare’s most pent-up steward. Written by Tim Crouch, it is a charged, hilarious and unsettling rant from a man who was “notoriously wronged”.

In this story of lost dignity, prudery, practical jokes and bullying, Malvolio draws his audience into the madness of Shakespeare’s play and makes it his own.

A show for anyone who has ever been told off, called a name or fallen in love with the wrong person!

Tickets cost £12 and are available from the Box Office on 01748 825252 or online.
