The History Wardrobe presents Fashion Revolution

Are you a follower of fashion or a style rebel?

Fashion Revolution celebrates the women who dared defy sartorial norms to shock society and show fashion flair.

We begin with the rise and fall of French Queen Marie Antoinette, from courtly splendour to the guillotine. Known for her patronage of female dressmakers and artists, Marie Antoinette popularised a new style of dress so shocking her critics called it underwear.

In later centuries we showcase rebellious women who flaunted bloomers, trousers, mini skirts and hotpants, right up to the modern punk couture of the incomparable Vivienne Westwood.

From the creators of Halfway to Hollywood and Dressed to Impress.

Tickets £18 from Box Office or online at: www.georgiantheatreroyal.co.uk
