Were There Indians at Gallipoli? Come along on 17th October and find out.

Spoiler alert – well actually yes, in fact there were as many Indians as New Zealanders!

Although not often talked about, the Indian contribution to the Gallipoli Campaign was significant. As only a single brigade of infantry, they were present at almost all of the significant events of the campaign including the capture of Ghurka Bluff, the assault on Hill Q as part of the August offensive, and finally the attack of the 14th Sikhs across Gully Ravine as part of the 3rd Battle of Krithia where they received 82% casualties. This talk is an opportunity to look at the Gallipoli Campaign from a different perspective.
