There's never a dull moment in Richmond...

There’s always something to do and somewhere to go in Richmond. With the unique Georgian Theatre Royal plus the award-winning independent cinema at The Station, drama and cinema are well taken care of, and then there’s the sparkling events programme at the Green Howards Museum, as well as Richmond Castle and the Richmondshire Museum.

The town’s many choirs and two orchestras offer up regular concerts, alongside the Richmondshire Concert Series in Spring and Autumn bringing in world-class chamber ensembles, while there’s plenty of live music at The Comrades Club and at many of the town’s great pubs. Richmond’s festivals are amazingly diverse, from the lively performance scene at MayFest to the delights of both “books and boots” at September’s Walking and Book Festival - never mind the epic Duck Race on the Swale.

Craft markets, health and wellbeing events, every kind of community group you can think of, talks, walks… you’ll always find something to enjoy.

Enjoy an evening of painting, pizza, and prosecco* with local artist Jaci Stroud.

Jaci will share step by step tutition to create your own beautiful 'Meander Through the Lakes' painting in vibrant watercolour inks. Take home your masterpiece at the end of the evening, ready to frame and display in pride of place to remember a fun and creative evening, or give as a gift. Who knows, you may discover a hidden talent!

Come alone or with friends - we'll provide all materials, friendly help throughout, and freshly made pizza from our on site Cafe | Bar, plus a welcome drink (more drinks available to purchase at the bar).
