Richmond celebrates business excellence

Dozens of businesses from Richmond and the surrounding area came together at a glittering awards ceremony held at The Station on Friday 19 April to celebrate the very best that the town has to offer.

The 2024 Business Excellence Awards were organised by The Original Richmond Business and Tourism Association in partnership with The Company of Mercers, Grocers and Haberdashers of Richmond.

The awards were presented by Baroness Harris of Richmond and categories included Best Customer Focus, Best Employer, Environmental Award, Outstanding Employee, Best One Person Business, Best New Business and Best Innovation.

The winners came from a range of businesses representing a wide range of sectors including retail, hospitality, tourism, consultancy and entertainment. It is fantastic to see so much skill and innovation in the business community backed up by a friendly customer focus which puts the town on the map for locals and visitors alike.
