Richmond celebrates Yorkshire Day 2024

Yorkshire Day is an annual event held to celebrate the region and always falls on 1 August.

Richmond is proud to be considered one of the jewels in the crown of this glorious county and is hosting a special outdoor market to mark the occasion. There will be a wide variety of stalls showcasing local food and craft so do come along and have a browse. This event is in addition to the usual Wednesday and Saturday outdoor markets which will be running as usual.

There will also be a coffee morning in the Town Hall from 9am until 12noon, which will feature children's crafts and a town trail. A Yorkshire Pudding competition will be judged at 11.15am and the puddings will be served to eat after the judging! Entry to the competition is £1.50. All entries should be brought to the Town Hall by 11am. There will be a prize for the biggest Yorkshire Pudding and the tallest Yorkshire Pudding. Good luck!!!
