There's never a dull moment in Richmond...

There’s always something to do and somewhere to go in Richmond. With the unique Georgian Theatre Royal plus the award-winning independent cinema at The Station, drama and cinema are well taken care of, and then there’s the sparkling events programme at the Green Howards Museum, as well as Richmond Castle and the Richmondshire Museum.

The town’s many choirs and two orchestras offer up regular concerts, alongside the Richmondshire Concert Series in Spring and Autumn bringing in world-class chamber ensembles, while there’s plenty of live music at The Comrades Club and at many of the town’s great pubs. Richmond’s festivals are amazingly diverse, from the lively performance scene at MayFest to the delights of both “books and boots” at September’s Walking and Book Festival - never mind the epic Duck Race on the Swale.

Craft markets, health and wellbeing events, every kind of community group you can think of, talks, walks… you’ll always find something to enjoy.

10km and 5km trail races in the beautiful grounds of Aske Hall.

We are honoured to be working with the team at Aske Hall to bring you the second in a new set of events named 'Stately Trails'There has been a hall at Aske Since 1066. The current hall is grade 1 listed and set in beautiful parkland and woodland. We will be bringing you the opportunity to run a 5km or 10km on stunning trails through this exclusive estate!Highlights include:Exclusive access to a fabulous location new to the running calendar.Fully marked courses.5km or 10km options.Finishers Sausage/Bacon Bun (Veggie option available).Mocha Aske serving hot and cold drinks with a range of cakes, scones, tea cakes, crumpets and ice creams.Car parking.Kids Fun Run (£4 entry on the day, prize for all finishers).This year we are offering an optional memento which can be added to your entry for £3.50.Additional post race food for spectators can also be ordered with your entry.Start: 7pm (Fun Run at 6.30pm)Registration opens: 6pm.You must be 16+ to enter the 10km and 13+ to enter the 5km.
