There's never a dull moment in Richmond...

There’s always something to do and somewhere to go in Richmond. With the unique Georgian Theatre Royal plus the award-winning independent cinema at The Station, drama and cinema are well taken care of, and then there’s the sparkling events programme at the Green Howards Museum, as well as Richmond Castle and the Richmondshire Museum.

And coming up is Richmond MayFest - the town's annual celebration of spring with loads of music, dance and family fun going on all over the town. This year it is all happening on May 2nd-May 4th, with the May Fair at Richmond Castle, concerts, ceilidh, Folk Fest, Baroque Fest, Day of Dance and much much more. Summer Wreath Stained Glass Workshop

Make a stunning stained glass summer wreath with Anne, who has over 30 years experience in the art of stained glass. You will learn how to cut, shape, grind, copper foil, and solder glass, and take home your creation. Anne will provide a template, which you can adapt if you wish using the different coloured glass provided.

All are welcome* - from the absolute beginner to the more experienced, though please note  this workshop is only suitable for those aged 16 or over.

All materials provided.
Finished wreath size approx. 11 inches diameter.

There will be a break for lunch so bring your own, or you can visit our on-site Cafe | Bar or Angel's Share bakery for a range of delicious options.
