The Piatti Quartet has performed umpteen times for the Richmondshire Concerts and the Swaledale Festival. It's a credit to the enthusiastic local  audiences that the Piattis have been attrected back to Richmond once again, when they can pack out the Royal Concertgebouw, Wigmore Hall, and Aldeburgh.

The group is famed for its diverse programming and for passionate interpretations across the spectrum of quartet writing, and has commissioned and recorded some of the most major and impressive works added to the quartet canon in recent years. So for this concert you'll get to hear not only works by Brahms and Dvořák, but also a recent and significant piece by the award-winning composer Charlotte Harding, called 'Iorsa'.

You can hear the Piatti Quartet at Richmond School on Saturday 21 March. The concert is at 19:30, and tickets are £22 on the door.
