Standing proud at the gateway to the Yorkshire Dales, Richmond is one of Britain's most beautiful and vibrant market towns. With its iconic castle, fine historic buildings, sweeping cobbled market place and leafy riverside vistas, it is the original of no less than 105 worldwide Richmonds - all following in its ancient footsteps. As if this impressive pedigree is not enough, you will also find  a host of individual shops, tempting eateries and exciting cultural and heritage attractions to explore and discover.

Town Ticket. SAVE now!

Did you know that you can get big reductions on admissions to Richmond’s visitor attractions plus substantial discounts on eating out with a Richmond Town Ticket?

The Town Ticket is a great way to save money for visitors and locals alike. The ticket can be used for a single visit to each of the four pay-on-entry town attractions – The Georgian Theatre Experience, The Green Howards Museum, Richmond Castle and The Richmondshire Museum - which represents at least 30% saving on the combined admission.

Town Ticket holders also get a 10% discount on their bill at a number of cafes and restaurants in the town which can be used unlimited times during the 12 months from date of issue. Participating outlets include Tasty Macs, Rustique, Cross View Tearooms, Jeffersons and Sip.

The cost of a Town Ticket has been held at last year’s price (adult £15, group £45), making it excellent value if you are visiting the town or are a local looking to regularly save on going out to eat, as well as enjoying Richmond's attractions.

"Working together to give visitors the very best out of their time in Richmond is something we're all signed up to," explains Lynda Powell, Director of The Green Howards Museum and Chair of the Welcome to Richmond subgroup of the town's Business and Tourism Association, ORBTA. "Having four amazing attractions in Richmond is a huge draw and being able to offer the Town Ticket is one way of showing just how grateful we are that people want to come along and find out about the history of our town in all its forms. As well as filling up on culture and heritage, do make sure you also support our independent eateries, getting your 10% discount thanks to the Town Ticket."
