There's never a dull moment in Richmond...

There’s always something to do and somewhere to go in Richmond. With the unique Georgian Theatre Royal plus the award-winning independent cinema at The Station, drama and cinema are well taken care of, and then there’s the sparkling events programme at the Green Howards Museum, as well as Richmond Castle and the Richmondshire Museum.

And coming up is Richmond MayFest - the town's annual celebration of spring with loads of music, dance and family fun going on all over the town. This year it is all happening on May 2nd-May 4th, with the May Fair at Richmond Castle, concerts, ceilidh, Folk Fest, Baroque Fest, Day of Dance and much much more. This year’s headline concert for Richmond MayFest at t St Agatha’s in Easby features The Keld - a new collaboration between three young folk musicians from diverse musical backgrounds combining melodeon, mandolins, bouzouki and fiddle. Featuring Richmond’s Edie Heringman.

Saturday, 5pm.

Refreshments on sale in aid of St Agatha’s from 4.15pm.

Why not join the musical promenade from The Station setting off at 4pm? Follow the Ran Tanners to get to the church about 4.30pm in good time for a tea and cake before the concert!
