There's never a dull moment in Richmond...

There’s always something to do and somewhere to go in Richmond. With the unique Georgian Theatre Royal plus the award-winning independent cinema at The Station, drama and cinema are well taken care of, and then there’s the sparkling events programme at the Green Howards Museum, as well as Richmond Castle and the Richmondshire Museum.

And coming up is Richmond MayFest - the town's annual celebration of spring with loads of music, dance and family fun going on all over the town. This year it is all happening on May 2nd-May 4th, with the May Fair at Richmond Castle, concerts, ceilidh, Folk Fest, Baroque Fest, Day of Dance and much much more. Marrie, former football manager, player, a trailblazer for women’s football and the first female Middlesbrough player to earn an England cap. With a career spanning over two decades at Middlesbrough, Marrie not only contributed to the growth of the sport but also became a mentor, working with children to inspire the next generation of footballers.

Paul Cutler, represented Britain on the football field at army, regimental, infantry and divisional level both as a player and a coach. Paul also worked alongside Marrie coaching MFC Ladies.

Hear fascinating stories from Marrie which include winning her first England Cap, MFC Ladies in North Korea, Ladies football in general and the inspiring journey from Cleveland Spartans to MFC Ladies at Wembley.

Paul will share his journey from his time in the Green Howards playing football on the streets of Northern Ireland to Zimbabwe & Barnsley FC.

They will finish the evening with the obligatory World Cup predictions.

The evening ticket also includes museum entry, a welcome drink, an interval drink and a souvenir gift.
