There's never a dull moment in Richmond...

There’s always something to do and somewhere to go in Richmond. With the unique Georgian Theatre Royal plus the award-winning independent cinema at The Station, drama and cinema are well taken care of, and then there’s the sparkling events programme at the Green Howards Museum, as well as Richmond Castle and the Richmondshire Museum.

The town’s many choirs and two orchestras offer up regular concerts, alongside the Richmondshire Concert Series in Spring and Autumn bringing in world-class chamber ensembles, while there’s plenty of live music at The Comrades Club and at many of the town’s great pubs. Richmond’s festivals are amazingly diverse, from the lively performance scene at MayFest to the delights of both “books and boots” at September’s Walking and Book Festival - never mind the epic Duck Race on the Swale.

Craft markets, health and wellbeing events, every kind of community group you can think of, talks, walks… you’ll always find something to enjoy.

    IT’S BACK, BABY!

    Nearly new baby and toddler sale, Sunday 25th June at Richmond School. 10am-12pm.

    Come on down to grab a bargain on hundreds of baby, toddler and child items!

    Stalls are run by parents selling high quality secondhand toys, clothes and equipment all at a fraction of the original price.

    Here are some of the things you can expect to find:buggies and travel systems, stairgates, toddler furniture, baby carriers, Moses baskets, cots, bed guards, high chairs, bikes and outdoor toys, walkers, boucers, books, toys and games.

    Price: £2 on the door, under 16s free of charge
