There's never a dull moment in Richmond...

There’s always something to do and somewhere to go in Richmond. With the unique Georgian Theatre Royal plus the award-winning independent cinema at The Station, drama and cinema are well taken care of, and then there’s the sparkling events programme at the Green Howards Museum, as well as Richmond Castle and the Richmondshire Museum.

On 23rd-25th May enjoy the spectacle of Richmond Meet and the Whit Fair in the Market Place. Everyone is welcome to join in the parade on Monday 25th May, with a vehicle float or walking float - or just line the streets to watch the parade go by from Nuns Close to the Market Place. 

The end of May also brings the varied magnificence of the Swaledale Festival, with many events taking place in Richmond and across the Dales.

Santa was out on a test flight over North Yorkshire when he spotted the sparkling lights at The Station, and mistook them for the North Pole! He made a surprise crash landing, and in the chaos some of his mischievous elves made a run for it - taking off with the magical items Santa needs to power his Christmas journey! Now he needs your help to track them down so he can finish loading up and The Station can save Christmas in time. Are you up for the challenge?

Trail sheets are £1 per child and can be purchased from The Station Shop daily from 10am - 4pm. Complete the trail and return your sheet to The Station Shop to claim your reward!
