There's never a dull moment in Richmond...

There’s always something to do and somewhere to go in Richmond. With the unique Georgian Theatre Royal plus the award-winning independent cinema at The Station, drama and cinema are well taken care of, and then there’s the sparkling events programme at the Green Howards Museum, as well as Richmond Castle and the Richmondshire Museum.

And coming up is Richmond MayFest - the town's annual celebration of spring with loads of music, dance and family fun going on all over the town. This year it is all happening on May 2nd-May 4th, with the May Fair at Richmond Castle, concerts, ceilidh, Folk Fest, Baroque Fest, Day of Dance and much much more. Join Robinia an experienced specialist painter for film theatre & Interiors.

An engaging and hands-on workshop - Learn the art of professional furniture preparation and painting.

This class is designed to help you develop confidence in your individual projects while exploring various techniques and finishes. 

You Will Learn

  • Professional preparation techniques for furniture,
  • Design consideration & inspo. 

  • Consideration of your individual pieces and their unique characteristics.
  • Insights into special furniture paints, finishes, and waxes.

Classes take place on a Sunday 10.45 -3pm. Workshop available with additional day.

£65.00

Please wear old clothes; aprons provided.
