What's On

There's never a dull moment in Richmond...

There’s always something to do and somewhere to go in Richmond. With the unique Georgian Theatre Royal plus the award-winning independent cinema at The Station, drama and cinema are well taken care of, and then there’s the sparkling events programme at the Green Howards Museum, as well as Richmond Castle and the Richmondshire Museum.

The town’s many choirs and two orchestras offer up regular concerts, alongside the Richmondshire Concert Series in Spring and Autumn bringing in world-class chamber ensembles, while there’s plenty of live music at The Comrades Club and at many of the town’s great pubs. Richmond’s festivals are amazingly diverse, from the lively performance scene at MayFest to the delights of both “books and boots” at September’s Walking and Book Festival - never mind the epic Duck Race on the Swale.

Craft markets, health and wellbeing events, every kind of community group you can think of, talks, walks… you’ll always find something to enjoy.

Fleetwood Bac is the world’s first and best Fleetwood Mac tribute band, and the only tribute to authentically recreate the classic Rumours line-up.

They’ve wowed audiences around the world — from Dubai and St. Tropez to the Cayman Islands and Monte Carlo — and twice sold out Cornwall’s iconic Minack Theatre. Rated by The Times as one of the UK’s top five tribute acts, Fleetwood Bac’s show centres on the legendary Rumours era (the fifth best-selling album of all time), while also celebrating Peter Green classics and Stevie Nicks’ biggest solo hits.

“Loved the show, really enjoyed playing with you.”
Bob Brunning, original Fleetwood Mac bass player
